Colline e Sentieri  wurde mit dem Ziel gegründet den Reitsport auf dem Land zu fördern und gleichzeitig das Eintauchen in eine Landschaft mit einer authentischen Atmosphäre zu ermöglichen. Diese Region ist reich an Kulturgütern, ökologischen Reichtümern und lokalen typischen Produkte, die in den Geschmack von Wein und Aromen eines Käses enthüllt werden.Wir schlagen eine Reise zu Pferd und mit dem Pferd vor, dem Tier, das den Menschen im Laufe der Evolution und der Geschichte begleitet und beeinflusst hat. Das Pferd hat den Menschen bei landwirtschaftlichen Arbeiten, Transport von Personen und Gütern und bei der Eroberung von Territorien geholfen. Es wird uns auf unsere Reise begleiten, in der wir Ecken der Realität und Traditionen entdecken, zwischen Vergangenheit und Gegenwart. Die Routen sind abwechslungsreich, entlang Pfaden, Schotterstraßen, Saumpfade, alte Grenzstraßen, Felder und Bäche, immer weit vom Massentourismus.

Es werden Wanderitte, Minitrekking, Ttrekkingwochen für  durchschnittlich gute Reiter und für Fortgeschrittene angeboten .

Gangarten: Schritt; Trab; Galopp, wenn möglich .

Ausrüstung: Schutzkleidung nach Belieben; bequeme Schuhe mit Gummisohlen ohne Absatz+ Chaps oder Reitstiefel mit Gummisohlen ohne Absatz; Regencape; nicht zu leichte Hosen, die auch vor einem eventuellen Kontakt mit Büschen und dornigen Zweige schützen; Handschuhe nach Belieben. Es ist ratsam einen Hut gegen die Sonne, Sonnencreme, Badesachen für die Pausen an Bächen und / oder Thermalwasser, leichte Windjacke und Pullover mitzunehmen.

Horse Riding Holidays  in Tuscany

Colline e Sentieri's goal is to promote horse riding in the countryside, and through this understanding and enjoyment of a remarkably rich landscape.Trekking with us is a way of getting to know the cultural wealth, the legends and history, the scents and flavours of a splendid part of Italy .What we offer is not only horse riding, but also an insider's view of how closely men have worked with horses in the course of time: from tilling the soil to carrying people and goods or conquering new territories. Ride with us and you will see and feel how the past shapes the present and influences the future.The routes we propose involve paths, unsealed roads, mule tracks, fields and streams that are happily distant from the hubbub of mass tourism.

Trekking for proficient and expert riders.

Maximum weight: 90 kg .

Gait: Walking, trotting, galloping where this is feasible.Equipment: Protective clothing at the rider's discretion; flat-heeled comfortable shoes with rubber soles and protective leggings, or flat-heeled boots with rubber soles; rain coat; trousers or riding britches that are sturdy enough to resist the thorns of wayside bushes; gloves at the rider's discretion.

We suggest a hat for protection from the sun, sun cream, a bathing costume for stops at streams or thermal springs, a light windproof jacket, a sweater.

Our location.

We're located in Tuscany , in the Province of Grosseto . Our activities stretch across two municipalities: Scansano and Roccalbegna.

Tuscany is famous for the beauty of the landscape, for its art and archaeology.

The south-western Province of Grosseto covers a wide range of different landscapes, embracing rocky and sandy coastal areas, marshlands that attract myriad birdlife, hillsides rich in minerals, and higher peaks of volcanic origin. Agriculture is still the mainstay of society, with premium wine and olive oil production making a name for themselves at home and abroad. There is also plentiful pastureland grazed by sheep whose milk goes into the delectable Pecorino cheeses made in the area. Further noteworthy features of the countryside are the handsome horned Maremma cattle and the gentle Amiatina donkeys.
